Buffalo Wild Wings are perfect for the Superbowl – they are easy to make and will please all of your guests.

Below is a simplified version of the famous Buffalo Chicken Wings – which means that it is not as spicy as other traditional recipes and you are not obliged to have a special sauce.

However we do advice that you do serve the Buffalo Chicken Wings with some raw vegetables.

Here are the ingredients needed to serve 6 people:

- 24 chicken wings
- Salt & pepper
- 1 liter of vegetable oil
- 1 / 4 cup * Butter or margarine plant
- 1 / 2 cup ketchup “hot” (or normal ketchup)
- A few drops of Tabasco
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 4 carrots cut into sticks
- 4 stalks celery cut into sticks
- 1 small bottle of blue cheese sauce or mayonnaise mix with some crushed Roquefort

Preparation:

Remove the tips of chicken wings with a sharp knife. Separate each wing into two parts by cutting at the joint, add salt and pepper.

Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer and dip twelve of the chicken wings. Fry for 10-15 minutes, until the chicken wings are golden brown and crispy. Drain thoroughly using paper towels.

Repeat with the remaining twelve wings.

Melt the butter over medium-high heat in small saucepan. Pour ketchup, Tabasco and vinegar. Mix and bring to a boil. Remove saucepan from heat.

Arrange the fried chicken wings in a large bowl. Pour the sauce and mix well until the chicken wings is fully coated with sauce. Let cool.

Arrange celery sticks and carrots (you can add bell peppers or any other veggies that you choose) in a serving dish; accompanied with blue cheese sauce aside. Serve with warm chicken wings.

Serve with the wings with wine or beer.

Happy Super Bowl 2011.
