On Christmas eve many people are looking for the best ways to prepare prime rib in order to impress their families and friends who will be gathered around the dinner table.
The recipe below serves about 4 people
Rib Roast Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Cost: Inexpensive

For the perfect prime rib you will need the following ingredients:

* A prime rib from your local botcher
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 large garlic cloves
* A mixture of butter,fresh herbs, parsley and chives
* Salt and pepper

Preparation of fire:
Preheat oven to 240 degrees Celsius

Preparation of meat:
Finely chop fresh herbs and mix in butter.
Add salt,pepper and place in refrigerator.
Oil the prime rib on both sides.

Then put the rib in the baking pan making sure that the bone is in contact with the pan and brush the spices on it.
Additionally make sure the fat that surrounds the meat is in the air, so when it melts, it will create a delicious juice/sauce around the meat.

Bake the meat for 18 to 23 minutes – at the end it all depending on whether you like your meat very rare or medium.

Add salt and pepper before serving. To serve, make sure you release the meat from the bone starting at the side.Separate all the meat from the bone by cutting into the contours of the roast, then cut the meat into even slices that are thick enough to look good in a dish. Please note that the meat cools rapidly so serve immediately with butter shallot and a glass of red wine.
